NSR hornet 125 is not longer available brand new in the Sg market...the SP is the new successor of the HORNET...
sad to say..the performance of SP is not as good as the hornet though...not sure about brand new SP price but i just sold off my hornet a few months back at just a mere 2.6 k...really cheap deal...

errrm i am so sorrie man...r u a newbie in bikes???how fast can ur hornet go?????140?150?u wanna compare it wif sp let me tell u newbie...FQ plate SP can go up to 200km/hr after that becoz of power card the top reduced to 180km/hr...even reduce liao still faster then ur hornet...maybe crome ur TZ oso can go faster then ur hornet...if u dun really knoe about bikes dun try n bombbard here...u dun feel xia suei i oso feel xia suei for u..call urself a rider?i think u better go holland eat grass..anyway the price for an sp now is around 7.4k like this for parallel import and ard 7.8-8k for boon siew's one....

u selling TZ ar...i suggest u all dun buy TZ ar unless u r as cheap as his TZ...buy already so much problem...everytime spark plug tio sio..all the problems cause the bike always cannot start...buy TZ...kanna sai lar.....hornet can run faster then SP u go on road qi wif an sp lar...let u shu chao chao...

Hahaha.....NSR150SP seems common nowadays but doesn't seems weak. I had been riding NSR150sp for 2 years and of course it is not a fast bike compare to "big" bikes. However, if comparing it with hornet seems like a joke to me. And by saying hornet is better then repsol is more funny. Since you know repsol is an enhanced version of hornet, come to think of it, is there any company manufacturing bikes will like to manufacture something that is weaker then what is now in the market? And maybe you say hornet is better in sense of outlook of the bike then repsol, that depends on different people opinon. From what i know, hornet is nothing but an empty shell. Vroom ON!

To verify what Nonsense said is true, i had indeed tried a 200km/h with NSR150sp before. And if Hornet can reach 200km/h, or maybe even 170km/h...then i think you lost damn alot of money by selling your "special" bike for 2.6k!

NSR150SP... 200 km/h... no way. It would seem that the Phantom and 150SP speedometers always give a higher than normal reading. I think their error is about more than 10%.
I have a friend who rides the NSR250 PGM4. Now that bike has a digital speedometer. He ran with an NSR150SP who showed 150kph. The true speed was only 120kph.
I'd give the 150SP a top of 170kph true speed. It's a light bike... too light... too shaky at high speeds and unstable in corners.
Stable 2B bike?? Get Mito or Aprilia, they're 2A sized.. plus, their speedos are more accurate (Tested with PGM4!) also, Corner Queens... Fit in an Arrow pipe and you will also get 170kph top speed. Downside is expensive maintenance.
I'll put up my modded RS125 for sale in about 4 months time... anyone interested then?? heh heh...

im from ireland and nsr 125r "s cost £3900 and do a speed of 105 mph whatever dat is in kmph.there a really good bike compared 2 the last 1 i had which was a rg 125 fun. dat bike gave me so much trouble so i think im going 2 stick with da hondas 4 a while .may b i will get a cbr 250 next .

Guys guys guys, come on, a standard NSR150SP will not hit true speed of 200+ kph, the true speed on that bike is between 170 and 180 kph (depending on rider weight, wind and so on), lets face it though, the SP is the best looking 150 on the planet thus far and noone can say anything against that, down here in this craphole country called South Africa the SP's go for 27535.00 Rand, which compared to other 150's here is a bloody fortune for the bike, but Ive seen them advertised on USA websites for around $1600 which isnt bad at all.

hey i a sp rider do u noe the 2A sized bike u were talking about isn't heavy at all so wat if their size is the same as 2A bike & if ur Aprilla is that fastastic y u need arrow pipe to reach 170km/h & y no power card is install in Aprilla bike?while oringal sp can.Only one thing u say is wat i agree & that is corner but that doesn't mean sp can't corner its juz that aprilla is better thats all.hey com on if u want ad plz go else where.last but not lease where is the hornet fellow if u think u can beat sp wif ur hornet its juz that the rider don't feel like lapping wif u understand!

i kena caught 2 times in a week. one time bo p plate then 2nd time speeding.
now wait letter go court.
i only run 136kmh in 90kmh limit. scared kantong licence.
my top speed so far only 16o++kmh only...

the TP din give me a summon, he gave me a court notice. now must wait for the letter to come then know wat date to attend the court.
& i don tink its only 8 pts, 40kmh & above is 12 pts actually. now i si bei kan chong

hey Karatinize for ur info exceeding spd limit 1-20km/h 4pts $130, 21-30km/h 6pts $150, 31-40 8 pts $170 and 40-60km/h 12pts $200 light vehicle dun need go court 60km/h above license kan dong.check ur ticket carefully.

I checked the ticket very properly many times already... it's a court notice. it's not the normal computer generated kind of ticket. mine is written on carbon paper.
I think there's a change in the traffic laws already.
Anyway, i've already received a registered letter by post from the TP. it's the date and venue of this court case. i'm also informed that i kena 12 demerit pts for this speeding alone.
it stated that i've committed an offence under section 63(4) n punishable under section 131(1)(A) of the road traffic act, chapter 276.
can anyone tell me what this means and good or bad are my chances in this situation. what are the possibilties and what is the worst senerio? how high are my chances of getting my licence kan dong?

I'm also a Sp rider. True enuff tht TP and Rov are aiming at Sport bikes.U just have to becareful.
U kanna 12 pts for speeding , then u have 0 pts left, means u stay can ride. But i suggest tht u stop riding until yr probation is over.
If u Pay the fine , then u need not attend court. I also kanna 6pts for inconsiderate driving. The register letter came, ask me pay fine.As long u pay the fine , u need not go to the wat havelock road of watever court.
By the way, where u stay?

as long as they dun kantong my licence, i will still ride. my SP is not only my passion but also a very important mode of transport. i think i chia lat without it. i guess i just have to be a super safety rider.
mine is not just a speeding ticket, it's a court summon. there no indication of paying a fine. the only thing in the letter is the time and venue of my hearing.
i would gladly pay my fine if that is wat it is. sickening huh?
by the way i stay in toa payoh n i'm the only SP among my frens who i go out with. the rest ride TZR, phantom, KTM, RXK n some choppers. we are really a rojak on the road.

Hornet definitly loses out to SP alot.... Most hornet can only hit 130+ km/h. When i first got my licence, actually was planning to buy hornet but luckily came across PGM3 (kickstart hornet) and was advised by experienced friends to buy it. The speed is still reasonable, 160+km/h. But SP is still the best 2b honda bike, in terms of performance and realibilty( excluding the inaccurate speedometer). I wonder if the guy who said that his hornet is more suporier in performance than SP has anything to declare of his bike. perhaps he change the whole engine also hehe... to hit 200km/h? -
